Clothing, Playpen, Swing, Money, Appointments. I Got This.

Levi's newborn clothes came in!! Well some of them... and his/her's coming home outfit came in also. I'm so happy about them and of course I had to order a Ed Hardy onesie for the baby too. It's all so cute, I can not wait for Levi to wear them.

Frazer and I ordered a playpen that is a bassinet for when the baby is small, has a change table and a bouncy chair with it too. I also ordered a swing for the baby yesterday. Toys R Us was having a big sale and it was also free shipping. On top of that I bought a exer-saucer from one of Chauna's friends for $40.00 and it comes with a play mat too. I love the feeling of being prepared and being able to afford the things I want and need.

My tax money should be in within a month, than after that I get my Inuvialuit cheque, plus my two jobs I work so I get 4 pay cheques a month AND Frazer's income too. I am going to apply for housing this month and hopefully we can get a place around August when Tamara leaves for school. It would make a big difference to not have to spend one of my cheques just on rent. We should be living pretty comfortably when the baby gets here because I don't want to work the first year the baby is here. I feel confident that everything will go just smoothly.

Had my monthly doctors appointment yesterday. Everything is going very well, the baby's heart beat was of course above 150 as always - "sounds like a girl to me" is what the doctor said. We will have to wait and see. I have only gained 5 lbs during my whole pregnancy so far, but the doctor said that is was okay and that the baby is healthy so he/she isn't being deprived of anything. I hit my 26 week mark so now I have to go to check-ups every two weeks now until I am 36 weeks then I start going every Monday until the baby is born. Today I had to take a "sugar test". It's a test they do to pregnant women to make sure that you haven't become diabetic during their pregnancy. The doctor said it pretty unlikely that I have but they have to do the test anyways. I went to get my blood work done for it this morning and they made me drink this orange liquid that was like drinking straight sugar. It was so gross, I thought I was going to puke, but I didn't. And after an hour of sitting and waiting for it to go through my body they took their sugar test through my blood and off to my regular schedule I went.
